Chambered in 40 SW with a 141 capacity the Smith Wesson SD40 VE was designed for personal protection and home defense. It is equipped with a Self Defense Trigger or SDT for a consistent pull while an aggressively textured ergonomic grip and front and rear slide serrations contribute to a positive hold and ease of operation. The barrel and slide are constructed of stainless steel and other features include dovetailed white three-dot sights and a built-in Picatinny-style rail.
