Nighthawk Custom Express Gunsmithing Initiative(EGI)
Nighthawk Custom is now offering California residents with a new Express Gunsmithing Initiative. This program will allow you to purchase a California compliant 1911 with the Express Gunsmithing Initiative, such as the GRP, and send it back to Nighthawk Custom for modification. Within five (5) days, one of their expert gunsmiths will make the desired modifications and send the gun back to you.  For the purpose of the EGI program, the basis handgun will be a GRP for the purpose of transfer.
The Nighthawk Custom Fire Hawk utilizes a single-port compensator for recoil and muzzle rise reduction. The Fire Hawk features a bull barrel and a full length guide rod. A Commander length spring and reverse plug allows for a standard stroke of a 5″ 1911 for reliability.
A lightened slide reduces reciprocating weight for a flat shooting experience. The French border ties the slide and compensator for a seamless look, while the magwell offers faster reloads. The compensator is bull nosed for a cleaner draw and re-holster.
