The EVOLV 4 Prong Ported Muzzle Brake is a hybrid muzzle device and forces gas forward along the sides. The first chamber directs gas through the top ports which reduces muzzle climb, gas exiting the sides aid in recoil. The forward prongs directs concussion and remaining gas away from the shooter.
