FN AR15 barrels are hammer forged using the same proprietary high-grade Chrome MolyVanadium steel as their machinegun barrels which are made to withstand fully automatic fire. Each barrel is Magnetic Particle tested after forging to ensure it is free of micro stresses or flaws. The bore and chamber are chrome-lined to help resist corrosion and heat erosion to greatly improve barrel life and reliable operation. These barrels feature M4 feed ramps provide consistent feeding and a matte Manganese Phosphate finish resists corrosion and oxidation.
