The Barrett MRAD SMR(Single Mission Rifle) was designed to provide shooters with an affordable MRAD rifle. The MRAD SMR utilizes a fixed buttstock and does not offer the multi-caliber interchangeable barrel feature.
The MRAD SMR features the same performance of the standard MRAD with a .75 MOA accuracy and shares 90% of parts with the MRAD. The fixed position stock allows for adjustable cheek rise and spacers for length of pull adjustment. The free float SMR barrel is held in by a standard barrel nut. These changes allows for reduction of nearly 2.5 lbs in weight and 1″ off the overall length.
